APRO Banking Gateway supports SEPA

SEPA - Single Euro(pean) Payments Area.

 

In Europe (the EUR supporting countries) it will be possible to make electronic payments via the new SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area for Europe) format. This new SEPA format eliminates the difference between national and cross-border payments and will make all euro payments in the euro area “domestic”.

APRO Banking Gateway 5 supports already the standard SEPA format independent of the Oracle E-Business Suite release.

The European Central Bank reports that 30 banks signed an adherence agreement, committing them to offer SEPA-compliant credit transfers as of 28 January 2008. The compliance and adherence documents are held by the EPC. The banks that have signed the agreement are:
